Samantha was a great designer to work with. She took the time to make sure we were completely happy with our floral designs. A unique situation that impressed both my wife and I was her willingness to adapt to a scary health matter that forced us to re-schedule our original date. I had suffered a heart attack and she totally understood our situation but was so willing to make room for us when we were finally able to schedule our renewal vows. We renewed our wedding vows on Mackinac Island and even though she had several other weddings booked on the same day, our flowers were beautiful. Thank you Samantha for making our day so special. I went back and forth a bit while figuring out exactly what we wanted, and they were incredibly patient with me throughout the process. In the end, they read the vibe perfectly. We wanted something understated and not overly formal, but still coastal, elegant, and romantic — and they completely nailed it.
Aubrey was such a delight to work with, both in the months leading up to the wedding and on the wedding day itself. She made the entire process feel easy and stress-free, and even graciously accommodated our last-minute additions without making us feel like it was a problem.
Our flowers were beautiful, felt completely true to the setting and the overall feel of our wedding, and tied everything together so perfectly.
They truly made having a destination wedding on Mackinac Island feel like a piece of cake, and we couldn’t be more grateful. I would recommend St. Ignace in Bloom in a heartbeat!

In high school, both Alex and Samantha had experience in the floral/landscaping industries. Alex worked for a local landscaping company, Cedars of Mackinac, and Samantha worked at St. Ignace Greenhouse & Florist. Alex focuses his energy on the greenhouse with his very favorite, hanging baskets!
Samantha graduated from GVSU and first worked as an Event Coordinator at DeVos Place in Grand Rapids, MI. Samantha mainly works in the floral department with cut flowers and wedding florals. Her experience in the event industry gives her a unique ability to work with weddings and special event floral.

e flowers, another for arranging the flowers, another for set-up, tear-down; and there could have been more charges except we did as much ourselves as possible. (We were to move the arrangements from the ceremony site to the reception site ourselves.)
The bride's and bridesmaids bouquets were underwhelming, to say the least. I had paid an extra $500.00 to add just a few peonies, and stated over and over they were to be blush, off white, or white. NOT PINK. Please no pink. The peonies were all pink. Rather bright pink. The bouquets were all quite small.
The table arrangements and ferns for the ceremony were lovely; we were happy with them.
Overall, I really wish we had chosen a different florist, and do not recommend them.

nderwhelmed. For the cost of the flowers, I was not very pleased, and did not love the bridal bouquet. Flower colors were not to my expectation and one color I had specifically requested NOT be used, was. Specifically requested amaranthus was not used in a way I had imagined. Perhaps that’s on me to have expressly stated be done differently, but for the cost of the flowers and service, I was not pleased. The staff, however, was very kind and personable! Just would not recommend them if flowers are one of your more important elements for your wedding.

The zoom call with Samantha is really helpful because there are so many nuances to a plan and clarifications needed to make sure you are both on the same page. This florist even said she regularly had to redo the bouquets at the venues due to them not being as expected regularly. Our flowers were the worst part of our special day and I absolutely hate any of our photos documenting that day that have the flower/ bouquets in them.

ard times and things that unfortunately needed to be changed late into wedding planning due to Covid-19. Overall my experience with St. Ignace in Bloom was amazing! If you are getting married in the St. Ignace/Mackinac Island area - there is no better florist. They do great work and have affordable options!

Samantha was absolutely amazing! Very receptive to emails and quick to answer any questions that we had. She made finding a florist on Mackinac Island last minute the easiest thing...
during a pandemic. She also handled all the travel details to get our flowers on the island which made it so seamless on the wedding day! I would highly recommend using them for your wedding florals!

sion to life! Our wedding was on Mackinac Island, so that added another layer of excellent customer service-they had to jump on a ferry and deliver our flowers to our hotel on an island!! I wholeheartedly recommend ordering from St. Ignace in Bloom.

day before the wedding we had a last minute location change for the ceremony and needed to order more flowers for an archway, and with less than 24 hours notice Samantha was able to put something together and made it all look wonderful.
Highly recommend!
